The Best Bookshop in London

The best bookshop in London, originally uploaded by Jebaloo.

I work in Marylebone, and one of my favourite lunchtime activities is
to meander round the corner to Marylebone High Street and pop into
Daunt books for travellers. Definitely the best bookshop in London.

It differs to other bookshop in many ways, but particularly in the way that
it orders the books. They classify all books by country, whether they
are travel books, history, art or fiction. It’s fun, therefore, to
imagine your ideal destination, and leaf through a broad range of
books, fictional and non, all about that place.

Plenty of fuel for the imagination.

Highly recommended!

Ohh, just found this cool link about Book Shop Cafe’s in London.

My colleague James just set up a website that lists restaurant vouchers, so it’s pretty cool to take advantage of his inside knowledge on the cheapest places to lunch in London – all good money saving stuff!
