Edinburgh Castle Skyline

It always amazes me looking up at this ridiculously sited building,
how intimidating it must have seemed to your average city dweller back
in the days when it was in use.
It must have seemed pretty awesome and out of reach high above the
dirty and damp closes of Old Town.
It does make for a pretty good skyline though.

I must get to Edinburgh next time I am up there :)
I did The West Highland Way this year but didn’t see anything else :(
