I know this country has a tendency towards nimbyism, and I'm not one to speak because no one has ever offered to build a wind turbine in my back garden... but to be honest, I rather think that wind turbines are beautiful. Whenever I drive past them on the motorway I always admire them. Perhaps it's the architect in me, or something about the design of them being so sleek and minimalist. I would tend to agree.
