At work…

The only reason I’m uploading this is because I’m currently preparing a new video podcast for Amplifico and I wanted to work out how to put vids up on this ere blog – so here it is (I hope!) – Ah, it works fine on my laptop, but apparently others see only a blank screen for ages until it loads – so if you don’t see anything, just leave it a minute and it should appear:
Amplifico on their hols.
So, Amplifico were supporting KT a little while ago at Fat Sam’s in Dundee and I got to go along. Mum was in town for my graduation so she came along too. All in all it was a bloomin’ blast of an evening, and here’s a few photos that I took of KT.
Though a little scary doing the whole studio thing on my own for the first time, I had a brilliant time. Gav and Katy came down to help, shoot, advise, hold stuff. Twas brill. Must buy a white backdrop though, the cotton one here looks a little tatty.

I liked the noises that this band made – the lyrics eluded me, but the noises were fantastic. Crazy jumping about musicians, (with big red hair).
The Cabaret Voltaire on Thurs the 5th.

I take absolutely NO credit for this photo as all the lighting and set-up was done by a bunch of much more practiced people than myself – I just jumped in at the last minute and grabbed this shot. It’s not perfect, but I almost feel a pro nonetheless! Check out iScotalypse run by a very organised man called Warwick.
Kind thanks to everyone who taught me so much yesterday at the shoot. More to come tomorrow.
